Amanda Gow, MSCMHC Student

Amanda Gow is a counseling intern dedicated to creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Specializing in supporting women and teens, Amanda is passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s complexities and build resilience, self-awareness, and meaningful connections. Before pivoting her career to counseling, Amanda spent 15 years working with youth and families in various community-based programs throughout Central Oregon, and she brings with her an extensive background and work experience.

Amanda is certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and incorporates evidence-based therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, and existentialism. These diverse approaches allow her to tailor each session to meet clients' unique needs and goals, whether they are working through trauma, managing anxiety, or facing other life challenges.
