Angie Browning, MS, QMHP, Professional Counselor Associate, CADC-R
I believe there is hope of change for anyone who is willing to embrace the hard work of self-honesty. I am interested in understanding where you are today so that together we can get to where you want to be tomorrow. By developing your self-awareness, taking emotional risks, and practicing healthy vulnerability using self-compassion and honesty, we will witness change and growth. Through the practice of emotional attunement and unconditional positive regard, my goal will be to remind you that you are never alone and that you have the power inside to tolerate and process overwhelming emotions such as fear, anger, shame, and desperation. I believe that our traumas and greatest emotional injuries are stored in the body, awaiting release so we can return to a more balanced nervous system. I want to help you in achieving the goals that are important to you. I want to get to know you and your strengths and concerns and help you see yourself in the most true and compassionate light possible. Lastly, I want you to know I am committed to my own growth and development as long as I am in the practice of being a helper in this field, which serves to maximize my capacity to maintain a safe and healthy place while we human together.
