Dana Elizabeth Hall M.S, L.P.C., L.P.A.
Dana is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon, and a Licensed Psychological Associate in Alaska. She was born and raised in Oregon and is a Bend Senior High Graduate. She left to pursue undergraduate and graduate school degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Dana has over two decades of experience providing outpatient psychotherapy services and conducting psychological evaluations with clients in office and telehealth settings. Dana has also worked as a clinical therapist at an inpatient psychiatric residential program and provided behavioral health case management services to clients in psychiatric hospital and residential treatment settings.
Dana’s clinical practice experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, families, groups, and couples. Dana uses evidence-based, holistic practices to help clients achieve lasting results in therapy by modifying beliefs and assumptions, breaking harmful cycles that perpetuate problems, modifying thought patterns, improving mood, and changing behaviors. Dana uses attachment-based therapeutic interventions to rebuild emotional security, resolve relationship trauma, rebuild trust, and improve self-esteem and bonds. Additionally, Dana implements Narrative Exposure Therapy to support clients in reducing emotional distress and shame, and resolving trauma.
Dana works with children and adults experiencing the following concerns: attachment and personality disorders, anxiety, trauma, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder, tic disorders, selective-mutism, mood disorders, executive function disorders (ADHD), academic/learning concerns, grief and loss issues, social skills challenges, relationship distress and conflicts. Dana also has extensive experience in working with clients on the Autism Spectrum to develop their social-emotional and communication skills, and supporting their parents/caregivers.
Dana enjoys Central Oregon outdoor recreation with her friends and family including watching her teenage kids play sports, trail riding her horses “Kronos” and “Ella,” hiking the family’s Cheseapeake Bay Retriever dog “Murphy” with her husband, and supporting local youth sports programs and philanthropic organizations.
