Mary Bergeron, Professional Counselor Associate
I’m passionate about helping people learn more about themselves and make meaning out of their experiences. I specialize in supporting people who are facing transitions—whether it's navigating grief, adjusting to new roles, relationship changes, or another challenge. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, lost, and disconnected from themselves. Together, we work to explore meaning in their experiences, helping them reconnect with their core values, build necessary skills, understand their experiences, and move forward with confidence. I understand that moments of change are often uncomfortable, and I believe growth begins with a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship.
I value authentic relationships with clients and prioritize creating a space where clients can feel seen, respected, and encouraged. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is where growth begins. My approach is rooted in a sense of curiosity and humor with the understanding that therapy is a collaborative process. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide reflection and support as we work together toward your goals. Most of the time, I utilize Existential, Narrative, and Constructivist theories in my work with clients. I focus on helping you explore your values, make meaning of your experiences, and feel confident to take your next steps.
Outside of therapy, you’ll often find me with my sweet Cocker Spaniel, Heidi! I love skiing, yoga, biking, and cold plunging. Most of all, I cherish spending time in the sun with my friends and family.
