Natalie Schweizer, Professional Counselor Associate
I am a trauma-informed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to creating a safe, compassionate, and grounding therapeutic space where clients feel supported and respected. I believe healing happens at its own pace, and I work collaboratively with clients to process emotional and somatic experiences in ways that feel manageable and empowering.
My approach is guided by family systems theory and motivational interviewing, with a strong emphasis on somatic practices. I frequently incorporate body-based techniques to help clients reconnect with their bodies, deepen self-awareness, and facilitate healing from within. I also draw from attachment theory, helping clients explore how early relational wounds can shape present-day patterns and relationships.
I am a graduate of Prescott College’s Counseling program and bring a background in crisis care for adolescents, as well as experience working with individuals struggling with addiction. I strive to create an inclusive therapeutic space that honors cultural identity, community, and the many different walks of life that shape who we are.
I love this work because I believe every individual has a unique lived experience, and it is a privilege that clients trust me to work with them in their growth. Outside of therapy, I enjoy hiking in the mountains and climbing. Music is also an important part of my life, as it helps me regulate and process my own thoughts—something that continually informs how I show up both personally and professionally.
